Improv blocks...
After toying with the idea of what to make today, I decided to make some improv blocks. I followed this basic idea only without the muslin backing. I don't quite like the scraps and colors I had, but essentially I just wanted to practice - so I wanted to use the scraps I liked the least for that. Anyway, here is the result:

Looks great! Keep going with it, and it could look really cool.
ReplyDeleteI just realized that I made my blocks horizontally (or vertically since I can turn them either way) instead of diagonally like in the tutorial I showed. But that's okay - I still think I did well for just winging it. I don't like the fabrics much though - but oh well. The point was practice!
